Call For Papers
Due to the increasing degree of automation, data has become a precious asset for industrial manufactures and production plants. The amount of data processed and stored in automation systems today is immense, thus possessing an excellent opportunity for AI and machine learning in the industrial domain. AI and machine learning will help understand plant behavior better and make better plant operation or maintenance decisions. Examples include trying to detect plant equipment failures with help of an anomaly detection model (e.g., to detect robot issues in discrete manufacturing or leakages in process industries), or to try to predict critical plant situations with the help of a prediction model (e.g., the prediction of critical alarms that would lead to plant shutdowns). The objective of this industry track workshop is to provide a forum for data scientists, researchers, or industrial practitioners to discuss and exchange the potentials, applications, and lessons learned of AI and machine learning. Some of the direct applications include event log analysis, root cause analysis, anomaly detection, and knowledge discovery. The workshop program will be included as part of the IEEE BigDataService 2021 program.
Submission
A paper submitted at this forum is expected to be original research not previously published.
A submission may not be concurrently submitted to another conference, workshop, or journal.
The length of a camera-ready paper will be limited to 6 pages (IEEE Proceedings style) with
up to 2 additional pages (with charges for each additional page) printed on 10–12-point fonts.
Authors must follow IEEE Proceedings Author Guidelines to prepare papers with the
template. At least one of the authors of each accepted paper is required to pay full registration
fee and present the paper at the workshop in person.
The accepted papers will be published as the part of IEEE BigDataService 2021 Proceedings
by IEEE CPS and included inside IEEE Xplore digital library. The workshop program will be
included as a part of IEEE BigDataService 2021 program. Selected Papers will be invited to
submit to a journal special issue with 40% updates and enhancements.
Research papers are limited to 6 pages, survey papers are limited to 6 pages, and
experience/industry papers are limited to 4 pages. Authors must submit their papers at the
following link:

.
The best papers will be recommended to several premium journals.
